Adhere to whatever rules of subtlety or outlandishness you want. I encourage the ridiculous and the stupid; critiquing them at least make good conversation. Just don't be a little shit about other people's criteria being fundamentally flawed because you don't like it. (I prefer strong resemblance to the base pokemon with only small changes, but I'm not gonna bitch and moan if someone wants their Sceptile/Goodra to be made entirely of slime or something, no matter how dumb i think it is)

Or just devolve into bumping with the usual host of fusion art, who really cares...
