Good? Honestly yes. Great? Hell no but compared to most fan games it feels great.
I have a cat bias and there is no shortage of cat designs so I felt a little at home. Music is good but I am not sure how much was borrowed and how much was original.
Urayne is a decent design for a fakemon but fucking awful naming. Game is edgy yes.
I would forgive someone for forgiving that because I can't stress enough how shit so many fan games are and one of those reasons is being too edgy. I like Uranium so I have to still critique for that. Fuck swearing in the fucking fuckhole. Pokemon can be grim and can be dark but why the fuck cunting anal bastard fuck does a Pokemon game need it? Uranium at least does it little until later but aside from one character saying "oh shit" when he thinks he will die it did not need any to fucking start with.
Swearing is not a bad thing but putting in Pokemon still feels odd and I will say this if GF themselves ever go that low.
I actually like the nuclear type and thats coming from someone who hates fan types in Pokemon fan games. My biggest surprise is how much I liked it. That said nucleon is insanely broken and while the game does do a decent job at its difficulty(for a pokemon game) once you have a decent nucleon you can bend the game over worse than anything in an actual Pokemon game.
Having a *GAG* fucking ninbinary character as playable bugs me a bit but I see Uranium is the lesser offender when other games have tried pushing that in a narrative while in Uranium its like an on or off switch. If you are tumblr retard who likes made up fucking genders pick it, if not do like me, don't pick it and never have to think about it.
Having online trading and battling was probably my biggest surprise and its a good one. "Best fan game ever" is a lie but its a good fan game despite having some common issues shared with similar games.
