there is no reason why it has levitate
it walks around on its vines anyway.
pretty sad if a venus fly trap misses its prety it dies
it uses all the energy it has to close its mouth if nothing is consumed itll die
yeah that one time you touched a venus fly trap to see its mouth close you killed it

Actual flytraps in the wild have multiple "mouths" and one closing as a false alarm does not kill the plant. It doesn't even guarantee that the mouth that closed dies.
