We got 3d engine, Megas, enhanced story, Delta chapter (Still new stuff whether you like it or not), post game legendary chase (With an upgrade to the Regi chase with Regigigas), cool gimmicks, better online, enhanced mechanics like flying directly on route and with the touch screen, and the list goes on.
Not everything is good, you might not like everything. But ORAS still gave us plenty of stuff to chew on compared to RSE
