zera only needs to run jolly 192 speed evs in uu (outrun megamane, other notable fastmons are either zeraora or 145 base speed so you dont need to waste evs), so it's usually gonna have some bulk. 60 in def lets it live eq from jolly maero guaranteed and ohko with plasma fists

I hate, hate, HATE the fact it's a mythical. It doesn't even exude the qualities of one. The overall quality of legendaries and mythicals seems to have degraded in general, though. I think the UBs may have been an attempt at bringing the quality back to the franchise.

I hate the Gen 7 meta so much. It's worse than Gen 5's Outrage Wars IMO or ORAS's Weather Wars. At least in X and Y, a lot of Pokemon were viable all at once and the power creep wasn't as obnoxious.

It's not like it's versatile. It gets zero good boosting moves for its stat distribution, and not much by way of support.

That's really all it's got. Plasma Fists/Close Combat/Volt Switch/Filler seems like the only decent set to me. It doesn't even have any cool gimmick moves for meme sets.

Electric types are not allowed to have ice coverage. Look it up. The only electric Pokemon with accessible Ice Beam or Ice Punch are Lanturn and Electivire. Zeraora should learn Ice Punch though.

Bullet Punch literally doesn't do anything against Koko. In fact Zeraora is faster than Koko, immune to his Thunderbolts and Volt Switches, and can cleanly 2HKO it with Plasma Fists. Even Ice Punch would be really more for Grass types because HP Ice already 2HKOs Lando and Zygarde with a negative nature.

Koko is a special attacker and Zeraora is a mixed attacker

Plus Zeraora can take advantage of Koko; it's faster, has Volt Absorb, and Koko doesn't enjoy taking a terrain-boosted Plasma Fists

Koko does mixed/physical sets better between Wild Charge and Brave Bird for things like M-Venu and Tangrowth

Also Mixed attackers stopped being a sing in Gen 4, outside the occasional EQ Latios, the on things you're gonna see is U-turn on a special attacker or Volt Switch on a physical attacker
