I love gen 5, but every time I play it I get so bored midway through.I love the beginning and I love the end but during the third and fourth gym I really can't be bothered. Anyone else know this feel?

BW has great pacing because of the plot.

B2W2 has long stretches of nothing going on and then poof the climax is reached suddenly and I much prefer BW because of this.

yes, BW doesn't have as much exploration but many areas open up post game and looking for the sages encourages it. B2W2 is very explorable within the main game.
