like Game Freak did.I give Incineroar a pass because, while its design is easily the worst thing about it, its personality and usefulness in battle make up for being a man in a tiger suit, and I've always had a minor soft spot for puroresu. Plus I'm biased towards Dark-types, and the rest of Gen VII's starter finals aren't much better on the not-being-anthro front.
Also, I wouldn't say I flat-out hate any Pokemon
except Eevee relatives, but more on that later more than I'm just disappointed in what they've become. Hard to be disappointed in many of the mammal-to-anthro lines because I didn't have any expectations for them to begin with.
>>36043996A little bit of them being too "generic cutesy mammal with a palette swap" for my taste, a dash of them being way too popular for their own good, and a whopping dose of salt from the Hydreigon versus Sylveon artwork from the XY prerelease that wound up poisoning my view of the whole family. The Deino line suffers more than any other Pokemon family in the game, they didn't deserve another kick in the teeth.
