The actual last Game Corner was the Voltorb Flip one in international HGSS.
Voltorb Flip was better than slots, fight me.
I think that, because Voltorb Flip is actually a game of skill and calculation, rather than just timing.

Impossible. "Mashing randomly" gets you rekt on the first stage, or the second if you're lucky. There is no way you could get 99999 coins in 2 hours by just mashing squares.
