Don't get me started on how much I hate Pokemon Go and this fucking game is getting its own series on the switch to. I could go on for hours how much I hate the game but thats not what I want to talk about. IF there is a main series pokemon game coming, should it come for the Switch or 3DS? imo the switch doesn't feel natural for a main series pokemon game. The switch exactly a handheld.

I assume you mean the switch *isn't exactly a handheld. But it is. It just comes with a way for you to plug into your tv too. It's not a home console at all. It's a tablet.

Actually you rather have to use it because that's where it appears. If you didn't use it you literally couldn't play.

Also, I use it all the time. Especially for things like the PC. You'd have to be pretty retarded to move them with the Dpad/stick and A when you can quickly select/swap what you want by touch. And the same is true even in battle because it's simpler to press than to move the cursor around.

That's not to say the old system doesn't work, just proving you wrong and retarded for not making use of it.

Have you not noticed how shit Gen 6 and 7 run? Gen 7 even has to boot original 3DS models into a special mode to play it. You can't use the browser etc, while it's active because it doesn't have the memory to play the game and do the extras.

It even has to turn off the home menu for the most part while the game is open. That's why you'll see a distinct pause when you hit the Home button while S/M/US/UM are open - it has to reactivate it first.

It needs more power.

And we already know it will have it as Gen 8 is set for next year on it.

Really.. at this point there'd be no point in holding back. Another handheld would be just as powerful as the Switch and would therefore compete with it which is utterly pointless.

There will obviously be a handheld only Switch mini just like there was the DS lite for Gen 4 and the 2DS for Gen 6, and that's it.

Fuck second languages. What I mean is that it has no real use as a second screen. If you are using menus in the vottom screen, then you aren’t doing anything in the top one. So you “don’t use” the second screen in that it provides no asvantage over the menus being overlayed in battle or the screen switching tl the conputer or whatever.

In that case you get a narrow and high menu, which is good for lists but not for information. The alternative is that it feels like the menu is overly cutting into mainscreen real estate.

It's great you think there'll be a "Switch mini" but this was printed in Nintendo's EoFY statement; as long as Nintendo see the Switch as such, there won't be a portable-only model. This is their console AND handheld - they ain't selling one without the other.

3DS's touch screen can and will be easily replaced by motion controls when docked and by Switch's actual touch screen when undocked, it's hardly a problem at all. The only franchise I believe will have issues upgrading is the Etrian series.
