In Johto you can get Furret, Noctowl, Crobat, Lanturn, Togetic, Xatu, Azumarill, Ampharos, Sudowoodo, Jumpluff, Sunflora, Yanma, Quagsire, Espeon, Umbreon, Unown, Miltank, Wobbuffet, Heracross, Girafarig, Forretress, Granbull, Qwilfish, Dunsparce, Shuckle, Hitmontop, Piloswine, Corsola, Octillery, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, and the version exclusives Ariados/Ledian, Mantine/Skarmory, Ursasing/Donphan, Gligar/Delibird. If you have access to trade evolutions you can add Slowking, Steelix and Scizor to the list.
The vast majority of Johto Pokémon are in Johto. And you know, if there were no new Pokémon in Kanto whatsoever, people would have complained about there being no incentive to look for wild Pokémon in the region. It's good that they hid a few extra ones to find in the last portion of the game.
