"Hard": Opponents are a few levels higher and will use two pokemon if possible while you're paired up with someone.

Normal: The shit you've seen already.

Easy: Opponents are a few levels lower and their accuracy is lowered by two levels. You gain xp twice as fast, and if you somehow manage to lose you'll remain in place and all pokemon are healed and retain any exp gains. You also have to confirm your move selection if it isn't super-effective.

Story: Unlocked when you sync a pokeball accessory and tap five amiibos. The game plays itself. The only inputs required are to progress dialogue.
