Counting Colosseum and Gale of Darkness, definitely Gen 3. There's a reason Gen 5's Elite Four theme uses a large chunk of Hoenn's and they brought back part of the RSE title theme for Sun and Moon.

2 for classic tunes
3 for some really good ones like abandoned ship
5 has some really good ones that don't sound like the osts from previous installments but some of the city ones get repetitive
6 has some really grand ones and some weird electric guitar ones
7 gets really tiring when you're done with the hawaiian aesthetic after the first island

I really like generation 4 music, however, I can't help but have triggering PTSD flashbacks when I hear a battle theme. Those raised critical hit rates in Platinum really fucked me up
