not really considering that each trainer gives off hints as to who opens the gate, so you're not required to fight all the trainers. It's only 10 levels, and the later levels get you leveled up very quickly due to the high exp yield.

You don't level up THAT quickly. I've just unlocked level 8, but I can't get past it. My Pokemon are level 64 - 74 (pic related), so maybe I just need to keep playing level 7 over and over to level them up a bit more.

Did you catch Zekrom yet? I replayed the game recently but cheesed post game by killing Volcarona so it'd be level 65 in post game, trading over a timid syncer from back, and abusing the basiclly free power lens/anklet you get.

...I don't understand what you mean by this. I thought it's always level 70?

Just googled them, didn't know what they did, now I do. I've been using the Lucky Egg to get my 'mons quicker EXP but that's about it.

BW2 lets you catch a level 35 Volcarona once you get to the PWT. I don't like using that one though because it takes forever to level and has shit for moves prior to level 60. If you kill it, it will return after you beat the E4 at level 65.

I beat White Treehollow few days ago. I was taking notes about my level ups. Keep in mind I was using Lucky Egg and beating every trainer on every floor.
Clearing area 7 gave me 17 level ups.
Clearing area 8 gave me 20 level ups.
Clearing area 9 gave me 27 level ups.
Clearing area 10 gave me 36 level ups.
I ended up with 99 levels.

Zero since I started abusing save feature in area 8, 9 and 10 (losing a Pokemon/huge amount of health in 2 fights was just not unacceptable to me). The last three areas are tough since they have 4x4 big floors instead of 3v3 like area 6 and 7.

A good hint I found but haven't used - you can heal your Pokemon by using Restore Pass Power. Also, you can bring some Lum Berries and give them to your Pokemon.

Turn on your C-gear, click on Wireless and then Entralink. If you are not in a building, you will be teleported to a place where you can do funfest missions and acquire pass powers.

OP here, my Emboar has Flare Blitz, Strength (I needed it to get through Victory Road), Flamethrower and Arm Thrust.

I just beat level 9. I might try and do the E4 rematch now. Or I'll just rematch level 7/8/9 again to get enough EXP to beat level 10.

Why not Hammer Arm or Superpower? Stat drops are annoying but they deal much more damage.

My Emboar has Wild Charge, Earthquake, Hammer Arm and Flare Blitz. It's great. Wild Charge can be easily changed to Rock Slide though.

There are exactly 2 breeders per floor in later areas. If you are lucky you they have Blissey and Chansey (together they give you more than 20k experience if you hold Lucky Egg).

Because I don't tend to use move tutors / TMs. Those things can only be used once so I'd only use them if I was absolutely certain I wanted to use them.

Arm thrust is alright, it gets the job done.
