Just replaced my battery for Emerald
Also have the option to buy one of the ORAS games

What is new in ORAS to make me wanna buy it?
Does it have the customizable trainer thing that X/Y has?
Which one has Growlithe?

They really are largely R/S with a bunch of enjoyable but peripheral updates and almost nothing from Emerald. 3 generations worth of coviniences, online secret base sharing, the one mirage island becoming a bunch of them that swap out every day, the occasional remake flourish. The story embellishments are tastefully done and don't ruin the pacing. Sadly power creep renders them very easy till the end game even if you ignore the new toys, and the post story is loopy. I came out of Pokemon retirement for them and had a good time, but they were okay when they should have been spectacular.
