Correct however only real lack of functionality you'll face is no pokewalker compatibility (which if you really want Id recomend going for a japanese boxed HG or SS as they tend to be cheaper on sites like ebay)

HGSS are fake, this is visible even in front
PMD ones are original copies, gooks don't make fake spinoffs

actually they're DSi ENCHANCED games because of ability to talk with use of front camera via xtransceiver
