Electric Types are boring. Lame. Predictable. Uninspired. One-note.

They should be stunning! Shocking! Striking! They should appeal to daredevils, and break-neck adrenaline junkies! Lightning is a force of nature not to be trifled with. How do we make them COOL?

Most Electric Types are just my mom's animal given electricity-related powers for one reason or another.

That really doesn't work with Electric types. They need to have more creative designs than that in order not be just the same thing over and over again.

Hmm. You're right.

Plasma Whip. It would be a Flying Press clone, being both Electric and Fire type simultaneously. The base power is 75, and it has a 10% chance to either Burn or Paralyze.

Thematically, I don't imagine a lot of Electric types using it, so I guess take the same concept and just give it a different name.

STEP 1: Stop making them all speedy Special Attackers. There are a few mons that don't do this, like Electivire, Zebstrika, and Eelektross (all pu)
STEP 2: Make more physical electric moves with better distribution.
STEP 3: Let the electric types have coverage beyond Signal Beam and Hidden Power.
