>>36069060I love Toucannon for how it looks like the most extreme instance of "literally an animal" at first, but then when you see its beak change colors it starts to feel like more of a fantastic creature than a lot of other Normal/Flying birds like Fearow and Swellow. It's sort of like the opposite of Dhelmise in that Dhelmise seems seems to be an obvious example of "object with a face," but then you discover that it's literally just a featureless clump of seaweed. I almost get the feeling they were deliberately mocking the "Pokemon need to look like real life organisms" critics with these designs.
