>>36076730>>36076650I was actually thinking about what I would do if I could direct a Pokemon game today. There would be six or seven major environments in the region: Amazonian rainforest, the Caatinga, the Pantanal, the Santos shore, Patagonia, Cordillera de los Andes and the Atacama desert.
You would have two rivals, one would be a smartass that corrects everyone and dreams of being a Pokemon researcher and one that dreams of being the region champion and believes you are part of the evil team.
There would a lot of regional variants and the evil team would use pokemechas instead of Pokemon because they're stronger and also because a couple of mechas would resemble Pokemon from the upcoming gen.
There would be two facilities, one would be pretty much PWT but better and the second one would feel like a roguelike, lots of dungeons, lots of Pokemon from other regions and lots of valuable things that you can exchange for bp or whatever. Also, a reworked safari zone that will allow you to catch Pokemon in their original region form by collecting things from different regions and placing in the safari zone. And a couple of islands where Pokemon with hidden abilities show up seasonally. I guess that would be it, what do you think?
