Wtf that's disgusting. If you're that autistic about the whole "hurrr why'd it change colour" thing, you can do the shedding motif so much better. Like have some elements like it's got at the end of the tail there. It could look really nice since orange and blue make each other pop.

I see where you're coming from with the Beedrill/Weedle thing but I'd say that reinforces it. Caterpie and Venomoth are vaguely similar, just like Weedle/Beedill. Both have a cocoon stage where they go through metamorphosis.
Venonat and Venomoth are ridiculously similar and, lacking a cocoon/transitionary stage, that would make sense. It basically just evolves, rather than going through metamorphosis

Fuck people that say Magikarp -> Dragonite and Dragonair -> Gyarados though

Magikarp to Gyarados makes more sense to me because when I see them they look like they share some similarities on their head (mainly lips, whiskers, and fins) and the top fin designs. When I see Dragonair and Dragonite the only similarity I see is that they both have spikes on their heads and have round snouts.

For something that is getting +100 to its BST, making it 770, and for something that has Slack Off, I'd say it would still be pretty good.
I also can't see how having +100 to anything other than Slaking's HP could be miss used. Slaking has a good Special move pool, 200 speed even with Slow Start is insane, 165 SpD is amazing, ect.
