Fuck Masuda honestly.
Things have increasingly gone down hill since he took over and that's before Gen 5.

What he puts out is increasingly not Pokemon. Pokemon did not start off with the retarded legendaries, characters, and plot lines. Masuda added that nonsense in and it has cheapened the brand. Meanwhile he's stripped substance and content out of these games.

Gen 5 was a Gen 1 chinese bootleg. They tried to mimic all original pokémon with an inferior design and also added like 50 legendary pokémon. I'd say Gen 5 is the closest to Gen 1 but failed terribly at it.

It removed a lot of the old content.

The games were good, all of them until November have been, although just barely in the case of Beta Sun and Beta Moon (lol, it just occurred to me the abbreviations for those are somewhat appropriate), but you CANNOT make a better game by providing less content.

Gen 5 is the Gen that started that trend and it was not okay.
