We have reached a dark age in Pokémon. The genwunners, normies, and casuals have taken over and have ruined everything. At one point I defended them and gave them a chance but now this shit is just getting ridiculous. Generation one has fucking INFESTED every single game past gen 5 and it's getting pretty fucking tiring. The pandering. It's so intrusive it's not even funny anymore. I'm done with this franchise until this shit at least calms the fuck down a little (because I know it will never stop). It's getting out of hand and it's too much.
