>>36093250It’s funny. Half the comments are complaining about the games being too much of the same old thing. The other half is complaining that it’s changed the Pokémon too much. Someone who doesn’t know better would probably say something like “is it too much change or not enough, make up your mind!!!” or something.
Truth is, these two complaints are all coming from the same crowd of people. And it speaks to a different issue entire, the same issue that made so many people here furious that Pokémon GO not only exists, but made billions of dollars very easily. It’s gatekeeping,
plain and simple. You guys are just mad that people who weren’t always as invested in Pokémon as you are now interested, and GameFreak is responding to them instead of you. GO made nearly 2 billion fucking dollars in about 2 years, all while /vp/ whined and moaned about it being kiddie casual trash.
Get with the times. Nintendo is a corporation whose only job is to maximize profit. Of course they’re going to follow the money. Why wouldn’t they? Because it hurts your feelings? Quit getting mad about video games for children and grow the fuck up.
