Why would you market a console game towards people whose only familiarity with the series is a free to play mobile game?
Will Go players actually buy a Switch and the game?
Maybe they will, but it certainly seems like an odd marketing decision.
I think if this game does sell well, it'll only prove that if the game has the name "Pokemon" slapped on it, it doesn't need to be any good to succeed.
