I just have a huge bias towards Water and Ice Types for some reason. And also like Birds I guess. I like Toucannon a lot because it's basically just an angry Toucan and those are really cute. I don't particularly care for the jellyfish king, but don't really know why it's hated so much either. I think the typing is interesting at least. I also like some objectmons that people generally hate a lot like Vanillish or that Sword and Shield thing. Think the list might have turned out a bit differently if I were presented different choices at times. I paid a lot of attention to picking consistently. I also have some "duplicates" on the list which made me consider turning of NFE pokemon as it's pretty rare for me to prefer those. One notable exception would be Rowlet which I also really like, but I really dislike the evolutions and the typing for Decidueye is dumb. But it didn't make the list for some reason and I wanted to stop at some point.

Reminder that 151/807 = 18.7% and 30/151 = 19.8%, so making a top 151 list right now is actually less ridiculous than making a top list during the RBY days and totally not a sign of severe autism.

pyuku is just so silly it works. Somehow this cute as buttons sack of slime just so happens to have a valuable place in the world (suncreen, pyuku chucking, beach games) AND be fun to use in a fight. I'd never used a stalling pokemon before and to see my tiny Pyukumuku face down Ultra Necrozma was the highlight of Ultra Sun for me. Plus it's a neat design. I came for the meme and stayed for the cute.
