They just need to stop removing content, bring all of the content they have removed back, and understand it is okay if that takes time.
We do not need yearly games. Which is why it's just Masuda (who admitted that's their goal because quality loss is fine to be "modern") and Ohmori (his fucking protege) need to fuck off from any high level positions, not have the series be taken from Game Freak.
Are Game Freak the best devs out there? No, of course not (though to be honest with most being abusive as fuck in monetization at this point, I can't say they're anywhere near being the worst - especially since they're against most of those practices), but when they're given time they can at least put out something worth buying.
Gen 1 may have been a buggy mess but it was still a fun fucking game. Still IS a fun fucking game despite us knowing now it's way more broken than it even appears to be on the surface.
Essentially, I don't want Game Freak to stop working on them, I just want them to adopt Nintendo's standards for making a game. If it takes 5 years to put out a decent game, that is what should happen. If the content is there people will wait and most importantly, people will keep playing because it actually has content to keep them playing rather than dropping it after 2 weeks because even the mobile games they're trying to mimic have more content and then demanding another one.
They have hundreds of hours of content without even touching competitive etc., they just refuse to use it. That would take most people months to get through, They wouldn't have time for another new one so soon. Especially since it's probably not the only one they play.
