Why did we hate this in the first place? I’m starting to realize that maybe the Battle Frontier wasn’t all that.
At least we can say this is the best 3DS title.

Getting flawless competitive pokemon is much easier than the GBA era + different experience would be ensured thanks to the phys/spec split, more existing mons, more items, abilities, and moves, etc. So your fucking wrong on that one.

Because its flaws to further than the Battle Frontier. I hate this shitty meme that people keep spouting out where the game's only flaws are related to its lack of a good postgame. The maingame itself is nothing to write home about anymore since Gamefreak added handholding and railroading when they didn't need to. They even made the games easier than before when RSE were already piss-easy to begin with.

They're a lot of fun for me in the micro, R/S and X/Y's stuff compliment each other pretty well. But the non-existent difficulty pre-E4 in what were indeed already largely breezey games can make it all feel hollow. Great micro only goes so far if your macro doesn't ask much
