I just checked my copy and I have one. I think I just randomly got one.
Then again I always was pretty lucky with recruiting since i got Mew on my first run.

I never even met an exeggcute in all the runs I tried to get it, and I found mew 10+ times without recruiting it

I have all of them. Though I did play for about 1,600 hours on RRT alone.

I specifically played it as my main until I had all of the species available and had all of my main two's stats boosted to max which is what I considered complete.
