People worked themselves into a lather over which one would be the next Greninja (with Decidueye boosters being most popular, followed by Incineroar ralliers and Primarina promoters in that order) and now everyone's trying to save face over being so cataclysmically wrong since there is no Gen VII Greninja. The rest of the 'dex is actually not terrible, at least in my opinion, but you'd never know it from /vp/ because the only things that seem to be able to get past the noise pollution of these goddamn starter wars are the Ultra Beasts, legendaries, and Kommo-o when boosted by Druddigon and Black Kyurem. We could've had some more fun with Golisopod's hit-and-run-like-a-bitch nature I'm sure, or had even more cancerous Tsareena dominatrix threads, or gotten Passimian images banned from /sp/ by spamming them in Raiders threads during the NFL season, but nope. Starterwars sucked all the air out of the room before the games were even out, and when all three turned out to be varying degrees of shit everyone had to make it clear that the other two smelled worse than their own pile.
