Unironically considering buying a switch for pokemon.

I would say that the upgrades Switch won’t come out for several years to be quite blunt, but you should still save your money.

I wouldn't expect an upgrade until 2020 maybe 2021. Nothing this year except dockless and next year we'll get handheld only to go alongside the real Pokémon.

An upgrade is simply not in the price range yet.

Don't buy the switch for LGPE. Buy it for the better games, like BotW, Odyssey, XC2, Smash Ultimate. Only buy LGPE if you have better shit to fall back on when you inevitably realize it is a lifeless, content-less hold over cash grab until the 2019 games

This, its fine to want to get LGPE, but at least consider getting more games for it, even if you think LGPE looks fun, it hardly looks like it is worth buying a Switch for.
Buy the Switch for the aforementioned games, then get LGPE when it comes out.

There wont be one, and even if there was, it wont be till 2020 at the earliest. Just get a switch now, get some nice games to hold you over till lgp/lge

I really want to hold out on the switch until they release an updated version. Hearing things like the dock scratches the screen makes me not want to buy one yet, even though I want to play BotW and Octopath Traveler.
