I love the idea of Legendary that's mysterious, hidden in a dungeon, not tied to any other Legendary/Mythical, and with minimal lore, but something about Heatran feels underwhelming. It almost looks like it was supposed to be a 2nd pseudo like Metagross, except I love Metagross so I don't know why Heatran seems so lame despite the similarities.

Heatran is by far the worst Pokemon design, its just so bad. No clue what they were going for with the body shape and the checkered design looks like literal shit. And it no way feels legendary/mythical from the design.

Which is unfortunate since its so good competitively and fire/steel is a cool typing with flash fire as an ability.
