For BW only:
>Vullaby/RuffletEncountered late-game at Route 10/Victory Road at mid-to-high 30s. They have decent enough stats to do fine on their own and I think this is the kind of thing GameFreak was pushing eviolite for like

Still, between Route 10 and Victory Road there isn't enough room to grind 15-ish levels and you probably won't make it unless you really grind, and even then you only get to use it so much. BW is praised for having a lot of postgame room and I think this is partially why.
>DeinoPsuedo, 'nuff said. I like the idea that they're rare-ish and only found in Victory Road to make Hydreigon unique as Ghetsis' signature pokemon. You'd really have to go out of your way to get a Hydreigon in-game. I sort of think the way they do level scaling is that they want you to spend some time with Deino and not have it evolve right after catching it but like everyone else mentioned these levels are fucked for other games. Deino is basically nonexistent in the main game after this point (with Zweilous showing up in a few) and it's very telling.
>MienfooIt's decently strong with some really unique moves and can pack on EXP via Fake Out + U-Turn switch-grinding. You can get it as early as Dragonspiral Tower which leaves you plenty of room to grind to Level 50, especially considering the Plasma grunts right afterward all get destroyed by fighting coverage. Not a problem.
>VanilliteIsn't worth complaining about at all. You can get it mid-game around Driftveil somewhere around level 20-33 and you can evolve it into Vanillish relatively quickly and go on from there. Nothing wrong with this.
>LarvestaLike Deino, this is something you have to go out of your way to use in-game. Everything about Larvesta points to it being a challenge to train/use until it evolves. Hell, you get it as an EGG right before Twist Mountain in a nowhere island that's easy to ignore.
