My friend's uncle works for Nintendo, and my friend told me you need to complete the pokedex, then you can battle professor oak and his 151 pokemon. after that you unlock the trade with gen 2

And yet, they have dumbed the games down to glorified hallways with little to no extra content, particularly stuff that could be seen as secrets at all and are acting like they're confused why people want a new game a week later.
