Has the collectable nature of Pokemon expanded into other hobbies/ parts of your life?
I notice it all the time. Collecting whole book series, discogrphies, pic related.

I think that lots of things are collectable and Pokemon doesn't influence that anymore just because you collect Pokemon. But nice refreshing thread OP.

When I was younger I completed the entire card set for black and white. Sadly though they were stolen.

I've also collected every physical DS/3DS game which i'm honestly really proud of that. I plan on making a display for them.

Lastly I have a few posters in perfect condition from the aniversary event. Haven't been able to frame them yet.

Ever since i was a kid i liked collecting things, back then we had all sort of collectibles here in Mexico if you traded soda caps, chip bags, things like that
Also sticker albums of just about every anime that aired here, these were among my favorite though i only ever completed Digimon and Card Captor Sakura
Not to mention shitload of tazos and the usual YGO/Pokemon card
