>>36134611Exactly, the meta is a mess because it's based on whatever counters whatever's already established, and than what counters that, etc., repeat for a few more cycles until all roles are so compressed that the tier is represented 90% by the 10 OP Pokemon that are perfectly viable for Ubers, nobody plays anything else because creative team building is for losers and you have stuff like Lando-T appearing in 80% OU matches.
It's been steadily getting worse as newer generations add more Pokemon, which are always 90% shit, 8% viable and 2% outright broken, and it's bound to get worse as time goes on.
It has come to the point where Ubers is a more balanced, creative and respectable meta than OU. Maximum cancer. I blame it all on the cabal of elite smogon autists that still refuses to this day to ban Lando-T for allowing this situation to snowball so badly.
