Make the bug in Gen I where you didn't have to recharge if it killed an actual mechanic. After all, surely the time your opponent would need to return their KOed Pokémon and bring out a new one is enough time for your Pokémon to recharge.

An anti-Truant ability, "Fired Up" that allows you to both use and recharge a move in the same turn.

And because we're talking about Game Freak you know it will instantly be given to Xerneas as a special ability of some kind called "Fairied Up" for multiple pun action and to have yet another re-named legendary version of an existing ability.

To not leave the last member of the Trio out, Yveltal gets the ability "Ferried Down" which cuts it's Attack and Special Attack in half but adds a 30% 1HKO effect to all moves.

We all know Game Freak would do this.

it would be good for late game sweepers once ghost/steel/rock types are taken care of. Mons with Adaptability and -Ate abilities could get some good use out of it or Giga Impact

Why? Its downside is already worse than Explosion's downside. Outside of stripping it of its drawback entirely, anything which would buff it into viability would turn the game into a 'move every other turn'-fest or (in the case of making it only sometimes need to recharge) a coin-toss as to whether or not you'll get your turn at all, which is an anti-fun and largely random mechanic. It was necessary in Gen 1 because there were no EVs and hardly any good physical moves. Nowadays, it's really not.
