But at this point, I think if you trust Game Freak to actually care is out of touch. It's clear they're more interested in appealing to an audience of mythological creatures that blatantly don't care about the series, just its popularity and appeals to their nostalgia.
The fact that Pokemon Go is basically dead at this stage, when genwunners got alienated by newer Pokemon, whined, and then bailed and mobile users right after as it began to wane in popularity, which will most likely be the fate of LGPE as well.
