Deconstructing apologist arguments

>You aren't the demographic
Not being apart of the target demographic doesn't make your criticisms invalid. If this was the case nintendo wouldn't give review copies to people over the age of 12
>LGPE aren't made for you
Let's Go is a console version of Pokemon Go, a game where the majority of the player base is old teens to young adults.
Furthermore, it is a remake of a 90s pokemon game, not something anyone who can be considered a child would be able to fully appreciate
>Pokemon will never die, and will always sell like hotcakes
Well this can't be always true. Every IP will eventually die, and as evidence of Black and White sales, gamefreak games can easily flop.
>Don't criticize LGPE, wait until Gen 8
No, criticize as much as you can. If people do not criticize games, Gamefreak will misunderstand this as a decision most people support, thus encouraging them to continue a trend, that in reality, most people very well might not support at all.
>Criticism makes you a manbaby
Criticism makes you a person who has passion for a series, enough to vocalize what they like and don't like. If enough people criticize a series, the company behind it will have much more knowledge on how to produce a product more people will buy and enjoy, thus creating a win-win scenario for both sides. Criticism is not an inherently bad thing whatsoever.
>Gamefreak doesn't care about what /vp/ thinks
Well /vp/ is a very small portion of the internet at large, but we can't ever truly know what places gamefreak looks at for the opinion of the consumer. It would be foolish to just force everyone to stop criticizing just on /vp/ but every where else have it be a-ok
Also, considering the leaks, especially the starter leaks, that have been posted here, someone close to the company knows about us.

All in all, if you don't want to jump on a bandwagon of criticism and you genuinely don't find issues with the things others do, do not use these arguments. They are flawed.
