Gen 4 didnt really provide anything amazing. I just liked the custom pokeball entrances. The characters were shit as well as the pokemon designs.

What comes after LGPE? What time of year is it now? Which G.I. starters are currently enrolled in college and soon to be working? Take a look at announce-release cycles for FRLG, HGSS, and ORAS and tell me they don't tend toward the later parts of the business year.

You are comparing games that came out almost 10 years and more than 10 years ago. The next game in LGPE is gonna be the 9th gen game. The remakes will make their way a year or so after 8th gen games.
Literally every games has been announced mere months before release.

Release schedules have been regular all the time within a couple months except for platinum or ORAS, and ORAS was a surrogate DLC. Winter follows autumn and begins eight days before the next year. I might be a cuck but at least I've figured out how calendars work you rude.

For R/S remakes they were great, your problem was expecting them to do an Emerald remake, like they did a Crystal one (only reason they did Crystal, was there was no storyline of note to carry the game, which would have left HG/SS remakes feeling even more bare than they did, despite what they DID do. Hoenn had no such problems, so they just went with vanilla R/S remakes, just like the did with FR/LG).
