I was all for Kanto, all for a return to form but every time they try to defend it, they make it more and more clear they don't want my money anymore.

Even if that means they never do. I was even looking forward to the coming TCG sets and the inevitable Pokémon Joycon, but they are getting nothing further now.

And I'm not pirating them either. My time is far more valuable than any money.

Nips (aside from Famitsu and Nintendo dream dickriders) destroyed USUM at the critics. There were a lot of sold games that werebrought back to sellers and USUM price had to be reduced to make sure people could buy the game. At least Japan had the dignity to speak his mind when GF is fucking up its franchise.

Well, when it comes to LG two things could happen. Either it allows for the other games (I'm not going to say main games since people get easily triggered by semantics) to be less casual, since that demographic is already been covered by this games... or, like everyone else has been point on this thread, it becomes the future of the franchise and everything becomes ultra casual trash forever. Since the most pessimistic option is usually the most realistic one, and people don't really have any reason to trust GF anymore, they are taking the later option as fact already.

Until the trailers for the game drop in January (hopefully), my expectations are rock bottom. And the fact that even the staff was againts Masuda's idea, but they still let him do it shows that there's no real control behind the scene.
