I started with soul silver and stuck with the series, but never actually played DPPl. Im currently replaying each gens remakes (Leafgreen, Soulsilver, Omegaruby, etc.) but still need to buy platinum, what can I expect?
I know DandP were slow as fuck, is that fixed for the most part in plat?

Well Platinum isn't a remake and the slowdown is somewhat fixed. The surf speed is higher. That's about it.

Definitely. I feel like if Sinnoh were built on a better engine a lot of its issues could be resolved.

Definitely OP I highly recommend playing Platinum and enjoying it, My route was very fun and I completed everything including contest if your a completionist.

Though my advice if you cannot get a DS copy of Platinum you can always emulate it. I had to do that for my route in Platinum because sadly my DS copy stopped working even when I always put it back in its case.

Platinum is great - definitely play it ASAP. HGSS is the best in my opinion, but Plat and B2W2 are close behind.
