Is there a non-game incarnation of Diantha I’m not aware of? I might’ve heard that she’s actually good in the anime, but game Diantha is EASILY at the bottom of my list when it comes to Champions.
Just the fact that you see her all of two times before fighting her and I didn’t even remember the second time.

Ash-Greninja knocked Gardevoir out,anon. She lost to that power, then again Ash defeated Alder,too so she's not lonelyin the defeat pile, only Lance, Steven and Cynthia seem to be untouchable champions that even that mary sue Alian couldn't beat and Wallace, much like Iris is not a champion in the anime nor has Kukui fought against champions in the anime in his youth either.

Did you even watch that episode? Greninja managed to HIT Gardevoir, she fell down, didnt faint. Next second Greninja fainted out of exhaustion and Gardevoir immeditaley got up.

In the anime a mon is defeated when it faints with these swirly eyes. Plus it was clear Diantha wasnt using her full power

Also get your facts staright: Wallace IS a a champion in the anime

Dont you understand she wasnt fighting seriously? Thats why she was spamming Shadow Ball against a Dark type Greninja. Also she used Moonblast once at the very beginning and even though Greninja dodged it the aftershock literally send the frog on a tree, Thats when Diantha started using only Shadow Ball

This is not the game though, and Ash is complete embarrassment as a trainer even if he had an overpowered Pokemon.
I would understand if she got hit by a super effective move but to love to a move like Cut and Water Gun?
You at least have to admit it was bad writing.

Not really. Ash is bad but Ash Greninja is OP as fuck in any version. Plus, as i already said, Diantha wasnt attacking seriously. She was dodging and spamming not very effective move because she wanted to see Greninja's special power that Olympia told her about. Thats all really
