>>36158944Perhaps, but it still needs to reconcile that Go is dead and LGPE is already at a disadvantage by having a $300 barrier. It's going to need to have more than just genwunners looking forward to it to do well, considering we need only look at the last few main series generations to see how the desperate appeal to them and mobile users has gone, which is to say poorly and considering it's conventional wisdom now that mobile users are never going to convert over, it'll need a massive amount of push from genwunners, newbies and established fans to succeed. Of course, even if LGPE does succeed and genwunners don't just up and bail on it like they did Go because of the newer Pokemon they aren't nostalgic about, it's only going to turn around and bite Game Freak in the ass if these two titles co-exist, since they will just end up with one pillaging the sales of the other anyway.
Although, even if they do sell 15m units, that's just below the main series average. Not really numbers to write home about. The main titles already do over a billion a generation, if LGPE can't do beat the average, I am not sure what anyone expects, since this will never attract a completely new audience or anything.
