I don't have the stamina to comment this in every thread about it, but you can very clearly tell he's lying. LGPE is underwhelmingly advanced from the previous games because they are for the interns to get experience with. GF staff virtually doubled for the Switch. LGPE are training games using the guise of being GO-inspired to say they're a 'different' remake instead of admitting they're lower-end Switch games. Masuda can't outright say they're training grounds for the interns -- that's bad publicity either way, so he lies. You can tell it's a lie because there's a diminishing level of competence the younger you go for this newish console. Why would you trust someone so young with a Switch?

I'm pretty sure the main team is working on Gen 8. They reassured everyone when LGPE was first announced that the Gen 8 games will follow the style of Gen 6/7 but have more updated graphics as expected. LGPE is also a smaller scale sampling for following/riding Pokemon that's going to be for all mons come the Gen 8 games in 2019.

Meh, you might actually have a point. To further the not for kids point is the demographic of GO which it OBVIOUSLY is pandering too. As you can see by pic related kids do not play fucking pokemon go.

Do you know the sample size and region extent for that poll? The large female playerbase is surprising if real -- I would see a lot of female avatars but assumed they were mostly males playing as females since irl I'd ever see like 15% of all GO players who were female.

the sample size is just the US. You can google the demographics and see multiple charts with very similar results. At first I thought the female/male was a typo and they should have been switched, but no. Mainly millennial women play go, I've seen some charts that put it at 40% though so it might jump around a bit

Oh I meant the region is US, they got the statistics from the app itself, so the sample size is literally everyone who played the game

Thanks. If the statistics are from the app though, I question how they're able to gauge if people are actually male or female. If they're just going by avatar choice it all becomes clear for me.
