>>36166281It's just people praising it, not making actual purchases. Switch's higher price is a barrier of entry that will keep away most of these mouthbreathers. Sure, the game will still sell well, but I can see repeat of gen 5 happening, and no matter how well Pokemon 2019 may turn out, there will be many more options on the market and bad rep from Let's Go (that will drop once people actually play it) will cut the sales by a big margin.
I don't see people buying Switch as dedicated Pokemon machine because:
- it's more expensive
- it has a great library of games
- account system negates Pokemon having a single save slot, so there's not much incentive to get multiple copies of the game
