Whats so wrong with playing pokemon casually? I have never once since r/b/y felt pokemon was hard core, it felt relaxing when I was stressed to just play through and beat each game without any worries of min-maxing or competitive, or real difficulty that couldn't be fixed with a small grind. I think r/b/y is just as casual as SM and you guys might be nostaliga fagging a bit too hard,the games might've been more "difficult" but isn't that just artificial difficulty since game makers back then had much more limited consoles and development power?
