I don't disagree with you, anon, but to be fair, fighting is a much better offensive type, so it doesn't really need something like that. Psychic is just bad these days, especially since the introduction of the fairy type (aka psychic, but better). It needed something like psyshock a lot more than fighting

It sucks, but at least Fighting has multiple overwhelmingly powerful Physical options to fall back on that can make walling them an exercise in futility. Most non-resists can only take so many hits from High Jump Kick or Close Combat before crumbling; even Skarmory goes down to a pair of item-boosted Close Combats from a strong Fighting-type. Rock and Dragon have the fewest moves of any type in the game. Rock has severe issues with power versus accuracy, and Dragon can't go all-out on power without inviting a Fairy to come in for free and ruin its day. A solid biting move with a nifty side effect and power/accuracy breakdown along the lines of, say, Play Rough would be a godsend for both types.

I like the sound of it but what do you mean exactly? It seems to be,
>chew does a minute amount of damage every turn for 2-5 turns
>next turn do another bite
>does the bite attack
>the status-damage caused by chew gets a 1.5x-2x bonus for that round
>chew keeps going for x-number of turns
If that's true, then Chew would be really fucking powerful
