>>36172756Usually, I give myself a 1-2 Pokémon leeway, but otherwise yes. Like, I used a Scolipede in Kalos, Azumarill in Hoenn, and Steelix in Sinnoh; otherwise, everything has new-gen exclusive. I do it so I can become bros with each region's Pokémon.
Doing it in Alola is proving incredibly difficult, though. I've got Ghost Owl, Toucan Sam, and Magneton, but I can't fill the last three slots to save my life because everyone I try to put in those slots keeps letting me down. I only just beat Guzma at Malie Garden so there's still time for the rest of the team to materialize, but I'm getting worried.
