Why isn’t this a thing? You should be able to pick an any age trainer class model and customize it however you want

What would be wrong with an older returning trainer starting a new adventure with a starter like Ash does while unlocking Bank at the end of the game.

A "teenager" or "adult" option could probably happen in the future. For as much as they like to jerk off Kanto and older fans, you'd think they'd let character customization appeal to them too.

I really loved those options. a shota, 2 lolis, a milf, a bishonen, and a bara. More bigger problems today is too much unskipable dialogue cutscenes and hard to find legendaries in ultra wormholes.

Ash isn’t even relevant to the games, he exists because of the games. Also, it must be pretty ironic that these games for kids are now almost exclusively to played by older kids/teenagers and 20-somethings.

If you aren't a successful trainer, a Gym Leader or an Elite Four by that age, you're supposed to go get a normal job that a Pokemon isn't already capable of doing a thousand times better, like a Store Clerk, as evidenced by the Eevee Trainer in Alola.

You're from another region, you have just moved, and you are starting a new adventure.
They could really tickle the nostalgia boners with lines about "starting a new adventure".

It's not the age part, it's the "I've already been on a journey before" that already gives the impression that the character isn't just your personal meat puppet, and would go against any perceived interpretations of them even if you never see their past journey(s) or Pokemon.

Battle Revolution should have been online mode for games going forward

A story that fits the narrative and a young trainer as the MC

A Stadium Battle mode with a fully customizable avatar that can be “you” to your hearts content

That's a great idea, I wonder if belonging to certain classes will give you advantages and disadvantages, for example biker class gets more money in street battles, but is not allowed to enter official tournaments.

They could easily have a age range you choose from at the beginning of the game and each age range comes with it's own start to the story
Kid - Move to new region with mom
Teen - Move to new region with mom
Adult - Moved to a new region to be a professors assistant (literally why do they choose 10 year olds for this?)

They can easily change the age of the rivals along with the players age choice and slightly change their story with each one.

BUT, it's gamefreak, they take out features instead of improving them, say to say they will NEVER change this.
