What Shinies have you seen and caught legitimately?

Pic related, only Shiny I ever found and caught myself on a cart. Was in Ruby and I remember finding and catching it thoroughly.
I was letting my sister use my GBA and she tells me there's a weird glitched Pokemon that's color is off, so I freaked out, snatched it from her, caught it and saved, then gave it back.

I mean it's a Crobat now and I still have it on the original Ruby cart whereas he would've probably lost it, but it was admittedly really shitty of me.
It and the Shiny tentacruel are the only Shinies I own.

That depends upon what you mean.

Randomly only about 3 dozen.

If you include hatching, events, Shiny gifts/stationaries, and RNG abuse (which prior to Gen 6 it doesn't require modding the game or system so despite not being completely random, it's technically legit) then varying amounts of hundreds. Apparently I'd been underestimating prior as I recently went through and realized I had just shy of 22 boxes.

And that's not counting the ones from the original Gen 2 games since they weren't transferable and were lost, 4 that I wasn't able to actually catch, and the dozens I've Wonder Traded away in my breeding to get the shit I want.

These two. The cartridge with the Marill on it died, and the Magnemite is in Sinnoh now and all evolved up, sad because Magnemite/ton is cooler than Magnezone. Also a Bidoof was chained, but I got the patch on the third shake.

My first legit was a Slugma on Cycling Road in HG. I fucking shat myself.
Then I found a Rattata, also in HG. And my third fucking shiny was on that same HG cart, this time a Pidgey in the Safari Zone (which I thankfully caught before it ran). Too bad it and Ratatta's shinies are a disgusting puke-green, instead of Slugma's sexy silver.
The only wild shiny I've gotten in another game was a Minccino in Black.

When i played FireRed at the first time, i encountered a shiny zubat in Mt.Moon. But i thought that it was a glitch and ran away.
The most recent shiny is Cherubi in Ruby Destiny Reign of Legends.

First shiny I ever saw was Weedle in FireRed, tried to catch it but I was a stupid kid back then and killed it accidentally with my overleveled Charmeleon

First legitimate shiny I caught was a Bidoof of all things in Platinum. Also had a shiny Nidoqueen in SoulSilver.

Most recent ones I've gotten were from Masuda Method in Moon, along with the Shiny Charm (though I was breeding for comp mons, not shinies specifically). I've gotten a shiny Ribombee (in a Love Ball too!) and Charizard this way. Also found a shiny Fearow in the same game, but that was a wild encounter.

Sadly, the only shinies I still own are from the recent games, since my previous PokéBank account got deleted from inactivity ages ago.

My set of Pheromosas in UM. I hunt for both of them in just 3 days. The first one I got under 180 resets Adamant nature, but the second one took around 2300+ resets and turned out to be Brave, synchronizer didn't work.
I kinda want to get 4 since GF locked shinies in the previous set of games, but I dunno, I need to think about my sanity

Alright, so the first shiny I ever found was on Fire red. Whilst exploring a cave I found a shiny geodude. Me being a little shit at the time, I forgot my Pokemon were op and one shot it. I also reset my game after realizing what I did, thinking that this was a scripted event.

Fast foward to gen 6 and I start shiny hunting a bit. The first shiny I ever caught was a shiny Riolu, partially because it was my favorite Pokemon

Another tragic encounter was when I was shiny hunting in hords. I managed to find a shiny zangoos... In a hord of sevipers.

The chances of anyone else have the exact same pattern as you as well as it being shiny on top of that is basically 0
