But of course, that won't happen, or Japan's Tardlets will think Pokemon is a dead franchise and immediately hop to some other thing, like the vulnerable period where Yokai Watch quickly ascended to obscene levels of popularity for a few months, and it actually managed to scare GameFreak enough that they had to do a bit of research and be like "oh, I guess they really liked the Yokai Watch Dance, Whisper and the anime's slice of life style, we'll just do something like those!" which led to Rotomdex in its obnoxious glory, Z-Moves and the Anime's complete 180 from wannabe shonen to standard fare kodomo.
